With her sub-specialty in cleft-craniofacial surgical orthodontics (i.e. complex orthodontics involving surgery), Dr Lee became the Director of the Singapore International Cleft-Craniofacial Team, which provides multi-disciplinary care for cleft-lip and -palate patients throughout Asia.
In 2005, Dr Lee helped to establish the Cleft Care Foundation Indonesia, a non-profit charity organization. She now serves as a Patron and Project Advisor on its board, providing expertise, resources and strategies for the care of underprivileged cleft-lip and -palate children in Indonesia.
