Dr Lim Ing Haan graduated from Duke University Medical Centre where she underwent American Board Accredited training in Interventional Cardiology. Duke University Medical Centre is one of the top 3 cardiology centres in US. She is now an Adjunct Faculty with the DukeāNUS school of Medicine.
Dr Lim has more than 19 years of practice in the field of Cardiology and more than 24 years of clinical experience. Dr Lim received her medical degree from University of Singapore in 1995. Dr Lim became Member of the Royal College of Physicians in 2001, and became board eligible in Interventional Cardiology (ACGME, USA) in July 06. Dr Lim was the Director of the Cardiac Interventional Laboratories in Tan Tock Seng Hospital in 2008-9 and helped set up the acute heart attack Interventional service. In recognition of her professional and research achievements, Dr Lim was inducted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine (Cardiology) in 2009, Fellow of Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 2010, Fellow of American College of Cardiology in 2009, Fellow of American Society of Cardiovascular Interventions in 2010, Fellow of the Asia Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology in 2011 and Fellow of the Indonesian Heart Association in 2015.
Dr Limās expertise is in complex coronary angioplasty and stenting with the use of Coronary Imaging ā Intravascular Ultrasound, OCT, OFDI and FFR and Rotablation if needed. She also performs Peripheral Intervention, Renal Denervation and Mitral Valvuloplasty. The radial approach is preferred and used in 99% of her patients.
Dr Lim is the Organising Chairman of the Inaugural Singapore Cardiac Intervention Congress ā OCT Workshop 2016 with Live Case Demonstrations transmitted from Mount Elizabeth Hospital and it was attended by cardiologists from 9 countries. Dr Lim is the Chairman of the Credentials Committee of Mount Elizabeth Hospital and served on the Medical Advisory Board of Mount Elizabeth Hospital from 2015-2017.
