Dr Zaidi graduated from Master of Surgery (Orthopaedic) in 2001. During his master class, he completed a thesis entitled “Outcome of ACL reconstruction using [Over the back] technique”. He was the first who started arthoscopic knee ligament reconstruction in 2002 at Hospital Melaka.
In 2003, he served as Head of Department for Teluk Intan Hospital. Since then, several Orthopaedic Surgeons were trained under him. He was selected for arthoscopy training in Hospital Kuala Lumpur in 2005.
He visited Prof Yong Girl Ree for shoulder surgery in 2005 and 2010 (two weeks each). He also had hands-on Radiofrequency (RF) Pain Management with Prof Rohof in 2018. Dr Zaidi is a Life member of Malaysian Arthroscopy Society.
