Dr Ng Wai Kiat is an Interventional Consultant Cardiologist at Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
He has subspecialty interests in cardiac failure, primary prevention and coronary artery disease.
Dr Ng graduated from the University of Adelaide in Australia, and subsequently obtained the Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in New Zealand. He completed his cardiology training in Green Lane Hospital, Auckland New Zealand. Dr Ng subsequently worked as a cardiologist and lecturer in the National University of Malaysia before joining PHKL.
Dr Ng is the immediate past president of the National Heart Association of Malaysia and currently the Secretary General for the ASEAN Federation of Cardiology. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, European Society of Cardiology and ASEAN Federation of Cardiology. He is also a member of the Academy of Medicice (Malaysia).
Dr Ng has also been invited to speak at many local and international conferences in the field of cardiology.
