Dr Salleha Khalid received her Medical Doctor Diploma from Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2004. After completing her training as a doctoral student at Kuala Lumpur Large Hospital, she emigrated to the United Kingdom in 2005 to continue her training in the field of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Upon returning from the UK in 2010, she was accepted as a medical lecturer at the Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia and continued clinical services at the Office of Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital Ampang.
In 2014, she obtained an expert eligibility (MRCOG) from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (RCOG). In 2016 she underwent Minimally Invasive Surgery training at Putrajaya Hospital and then continued sub-expertise training at HUKM in the field of fertilization the following year.
She received the Young Gynecologist Award from the Asia Oceana Congress of Obstetrics & Gynecology in 2017 and was appointed Associate Professor by the Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia in the same year. In 2018, she continued her fertility training at Newcastle Fertility Center, UK as a Clinical Fellow.
